8 of the 16 teams in this league entered into Week 9 leading or co-leading their respective division. 5 of those teams lost in what was the lowest scoring week of the year.
UTTER MAYHEM.
TC lost again.
NEVERMIND, EVERYTHING IS FINE.
Put Curtis in back-to-back Game of the Week scenarios, and watch him whiz on by.

Okay, no that's meant to be spoofed HTML code. You didn't really think I would use the same gif 3 posts in a row?
Instead I'll show you actual post-game footage of some players from The Mexi Turbo:
A season high 31.2 pts from Alvin Kamara helped Curtis overcome a typical 8.3 pt Osweiler performance, a stop-gap after losing his sweet prince Deshaun Watson. RIP. ⚰️
Nelson's lack of production from Mack, Jackson, and Montgomery led him to his 2nd loss in a row, leaving the door open to those sharks in the BSC. The Scallon Express took advantage, moving to one game back after a win over TC's SICK Fantasies. The Ghost of Stonewall Jackson could have tied for the divisional lead, but Hyrule's Last Hope had other plans.
A fantastic upset, if you follow the Power Rankings as religiously as you should, came via the weirdly unbeatable, storied Flaming Red Hot Gingers.
After going winning 3 games in a row without scoring 100 pts, the Gingers face the #1 power-ranked, and 2nd highest scoring team in the league, the Bellhops, and step up the output accordingly. Wilson and Hilton combine for 58 pts, as Beast Mode returns for 20 pts, and the Gingers put up a league high 148.46 pts. The Bellhops had a Le'Veon Bell bye, which very well may have been the difference for them, putting up their lowest score since Week 3.
The loss for the Bellhops allows the Birds of WAR to move to one game back in DD&B after their handling of For Folks Sake 139.4 - 105.64.
The Mexi Turbo and Gingers remain tied for the CdS lead.
Brady's Bench was the lone winner from the X-IA division, clutching it against the Helm's Deep Archery Club 107.90 - 96.70. The Buccaneers were throttled by the Saints surprisingly good defense, and Jesse paid for it, with Martin and Evans combining for 3 pts.
TC makes it 9 straight losses, tying for the longest losing streak in the IFL. Next week he'll play the highest scoring team in the league, The Mexi Turbo, in an attempt to not own the record outright. Godspeed, man. 🤞
The Wild Card race is also heating up, as four coaches (Drew, John, Jord, and Nick) are tied at 5-4, for the 2nd Wild Card spot, and 7 teams are within two games.
The CdS go 49-11 this week as a division, gaining some cushion. The DD&B have a good week too, and gain ground on the BSC. X-IA gets buried a little more.
Division Overall W-L:
CdS: 310-230
BSC: 275-265
DD&B: 272-268
X-IA: 223-317
The best of us get schooled in Week 9, and nobody can pull off a perfect week. Nick and Chris go 3 for 4, and pull ahead of the Consensus.
*PC (Pickers' Consensus) gets half a points when a Pick 'Em poll is split 50/50.
Four weeks to go. Four games to make your mark on the regular season.
