Okay, can we just take a beat and appreciate Hunt’s historic run? With his 73.96 - 72.07 dagger over Jord’s ASSassins this weekend, the man has now won 17 consecutive regular season games. Have a look:

2021

2022

Most impressively, Hunt has won his last two games by a margin of less than two points, and is 4-0 this year despite being having the fourth LOWEST average points per game. That may be a more incredible feat than going 13-1 last season. All right, hopefully I’ve thoroughly jinxed that streak.

Also moving to 4-0 this week? The Scallon Express, knocking off DADDY’S BOYS 96-87. Interestingly enough, Coach Scallon has not been pulling off these victories behind his #1 overall pick, but instead behind Christian Kirk and Zach Ertz. Perhaps with the injury to Jonathan Taylor, he’ll finally play his true #1 overall player, Jamaal Williams, who had rid the bench all four weeks despite his 18.7 PPG. I don’t know what Jamaal did to piss Coach Scallon off, but his lesson HAS to be learned by now.

Elsewhere, we have two new entrants into the win column for the 2022 season. Jesse puts away TC behind 23 points from Deebo Samuel last night, winning 116-104, and clawing his way to 1-3. Chris also gets on the board, with a 25 point bomb from the 49ers DST, #Griddy sends Rodgers LSDream Team back to the dispensary 135-112. This is Chris’s first win as an IFL coach since his retirement after the 2018 season.

That leaves just a single team winless, Nick and Curtis’s Bronco Coat, who got pummeled by the Tufted Titmice 107-161. Despite my declaring Jack’s dynasty dead after week 2, the Titmice scored the 2nd most points last week and the most points this week. What did I do?

A surprise comeback was had in the ALL-TIME D / Badassmailman matchup, despite Trevor Lawrence literally willing his team to lose with 5 turnovers on the day (-19 points for a net score of -2.84), Brady got HIGBEE’D, who threw up a Twenty Deuce, and lost 115-118 to the mailman. Aaron climbs to 3-1, one game behind the Express in the BSC. Brady falls to 2-2, and enters a 3-way tie with DADDY”S BOYS and IFL’s 3-Peat Pick ‘Em Champ.

Papa Jord’s has their worst week of the season and yields some territory to the Boy Scout Cyclones. X-Iowa also gains ground.

Jesse kicks it into high gear back to back weeks, and begins his ascent. Is Chris Curtis’s kryptonite?
