Last week’s recap was mostly spent hyping up Qualley and the Des Moines Football Team and this weekend Breece Hall’s season went up in flames. A total coincidence of course. Hyping up a team is in the weekly recap is not a curse.

Anyway.

Let’s now talk about just how incredibly dominant Aaron’s Badassmailmen are. The highest scoring team in the league, at 130 PPG (next best is Jack’s team with 123 PPG), is also the most consistently high scoring team, with a standard deviation of 17 points (next best is TC’s team with 23 points), and an overall win-loss record of 83-22 (next best is Ewoldt’s at 73-32). It does appear that allowing Saquon Barkley to fall all the way to the 7th pick of the second round of the draft was a mistake. Saquon is the #3 RB on the season, but Aaron also has the #4 RB Josh Jacobs, the #14 RB Miles Sanders, the #6 WR Davante Adams, and the #7 WR Jaylen Waddle. This isn’t to mention Devonta Smith, Mecole Hardman or Tyler Higbee, whom he doesn’t even really need, but have all produced 20-bombs this year.

This all of course means that Daddy’s Boys return to form in Week 7 with 138 points, good enough to beat 14 other teams this week, was nothing but a moral victory, as the Badassmailman put up 163 points, the 3rd highest score for any team this season. The Badassmailman racks up his 6th consecutive win, but remains in a tie at the top of the Boy Scout Cyclone division as the Scallon Express aren’t going anywhere just yet.

Down 55-92 headed into the afternoon slate on Sunday, a LATE 45-yard touchdown from Smith-Schuster helped put the Express up 98-92 over Brady, and despite Hunter Henry yet to play for Monday Night, and his back-to-back games scoring 10+ pts, neither Mac Jones or ⚡Zappe⚡ could find him more than once the whole night. The Express moves to 6-2, and ALL-TIME D falls to 3-4.

With Daddy’s Boys and ALL-TIME D both losing, an opportunity arose for IFL’s 3-Peat Pick ‘Em Champ, and the man delivered, curtesy Justin Fields and David Montgomery, whose combined 35 points were good enough to comeback against the Tufted Titmice 137-132. Curtis jumps to 4-3, and takes a one game lead in the Cul-de-Sack. Jack’s Titmice, fall to 3-4, though remain the second highest scoring team in the league.

In other news, the three losingest teams in the league went undefeated this week: Rodgers LSDream Team defeat Hunt 115-91 and get to 2-5, Gotta Catch ‘Em All end #Griddy’s 3 game win streak with a 108-81 victory, and Nick’s Curtis’s Bronco Coat becomes the last team to enter the win column, beating The ASSassins, 99-76. All three teams are only 3 games or less back in their respective divisions, so the worm may certainly turn for anyone of these.

X-IA holds onto their newly found 2nd place position and the Cul-de-Sack continues to dig their way out of the hole the began the season in.

Duncan’s heater may finally be over, as he fails to get a minimum of 3 picks right for the first time this season. The commish’ is coming for you, buddy.

I couldn’t decide whether I enjoyed the clip of the tweet better so I included both.
