A perfect storm in X-Iowa led to keeping the division razor tight, with the Pop Punk Pirates, leveraging the good fortune of their coach’s firstborn arriving last Thursday, fended off a Big Brother comeback last night 184-160. Congrats to Jesse on the win and the baby! Both equally important. Well, one more than the other. You know which.

The win means that both the Pop Punk Pirates and Big Brother are now 4-3, and meanwhile, FULLY STOCKED easily beat Hypezone 160-133, who couldn’t overcome his entire team being on bye, and both of those teams are now 5-2, one game up on PPP & BB. Brady & Jesse pick up some crucial tiebreakers that they’ll keep in their back pocket.

Another nutty division, Dirty Doc & the Boys got nuttier still this week, thanks to the Des Moines Football Team’s routing of the Barium Bunch 177-149, who were carried by the one man show Tyler Lockett and his 49.5 points (highest single player performance of the season). And with TC getting absolutely steamrolled by Nick this week 200-134, that puts Qualley, Jack and TC all at 5-2 within DD&B, and Jord picked up a win too this week, clawing his way back to 2 games back.

The other divisions are a bit more traditional, Nick is now out to a one game lead after Curtis fell to the yours truly in the Cul-de-Sack division, and the laughable Boy Scout Cyclones division has the only 2 game or better division leader, after Aaron defeated the Scallon Express 176-166.

Nevertheless all divisions are still up for grabs.

Oh and Drew is 0-7, at the hands of Hunt. Are you happy Jesse?

Cul-de-Sack earn their lead back after a solid showing over X-IA, but it remains close.

Division Overall W-L:
CdS: 244-176
X-IA: 241-179
DD&B: 201-219
BSC: 154-266

Now going on 5 weeks without a perfect picker; however, Jesse was the lone picker to go 3 for 4, and Jord was able to climb his way ahead of the Pickers’ Consensus, the first picker to do so since Week 3.

We have now crossed over the halfway point. Here’s where things get good.
