We are back, boys. And MAN, does it feel good. As wild a ride 2020 was, I am so glad we’re off it. We’re beginning to see signs of normalcy again.
Drew’s team scores the most points in the league, 25 more than the next closest team, and that just feels right, doesn’t it? I mean Drew going 2-12 last season just gave me the heebie jeebies. Condolences to Brady’s Boat Bucks.
The Scallon Express and Christian McCaffrey have reunited, and his 27 points helps lead the Express to their first win of the season over Brady’s ALL-TIME D 135-127.
Thanos / Belichick / The 2 Time / Jack and the Technetium Tempest only outscore 4 teams this week, but they intentionally played one of those four this week, edging out the Snyder Cut 114-107. Don’t worry, though, it’s all according to plan for Austin.
Curtis upsets Nick 146-133, according to pick ‘em polls and power rankings, and scores 3rd most in the league, looking to turn around the couple of worthless seasons he’s posted the last two seasons.
And to top it all off, we get an epic comeback straight away in Week 1, curtesy Darren Waller’s 28 points last night, to give Jesse and the Recker Rampage a 117-114 victory over TC’s BLASTERS. The comeback is all the more epic considering that all twelve coaches in the pick ‘em poll had TC holding on to his win. Fuel for the fire.
The Boy Scout Cyclones haven’t been top division since 2016, but thanks to Drew’s top score this week, they start the season off strong.
Curtis may never win a ring, but the guy is a 3-time Pick ‘Em Champion, and has now also won back-to-back contests. Get it together, boys.
Let’s go, boys.
