Like anything in life, fantasy football is full of highs and lows. Last week, the IFL reached new heights, with Jordan eclipsing 200 points, the first team to do so in the 4th season of 16 teams. This week, the IFL reaches a new low.

Joe and the Stranger Bros have had a strange season indeed. Despite having the 2nd lowest PPG of any team this season, at 111 PPG, they are somehow 5-4 and a playoff contender. But this week, against Burt Macklin Ninja in Training, Joe did something truly peculiar. A sub-50 point performance.

Granted, the guy had 5 byes to contend with, but looking at his team’s performance this week, it’s actually almost impressive. All players were active, so it’s a clean record. Only a single goosegg, so not skewed by any single terrible performances. Just plain ol’, across-the-board mediocrity. So I guess, really, props for pulling something like this off, Joe.

We lost our first team, officially, this week, with Nelson losing a heartbreaker to Curtis 120-124. Nelson is formally eliminated from championship playoff contention. Down 2 games to the next closest team, Nelson needs to make the most out of the next 4 games to attempt something other than League Taco.

Curtis’s win was huge, as his division is hot on his heels, but he’s also currently holding in a hot race for one of the top 2 playoff seeds, which draws a bye week in the first round of the playoffs.

Jord, of course, being the other team in that boat. His team scored the most points again this week, but somehow, 168 points is kind of boring now. He’s averaging 160 PPG now, which is just really insane.

Jesse clutched a major victory over the Hype Zone, despite 5 byes, thanks to 60 points from Conner and Coleman. Ewoldt really missed Barkley, who was on bye, losing 107-126. The win gives Jesse control over the X-IA division, and the tiebreaker, which is huge. Ewoldt has now lost 3 straight and will look to turn it around against Anton next week.

With 4 weeks left, playoff scenarios are about to gets nuts. But so far, 15 out of 16 teams can still make it. Here we go.

The DD&B stumbles again this week, as the BSC makes up more ground.

Division Overall W-L:
DD&B: 336-204
CdS: 263-277
X-IA: 260-280
BSC: 221-319

The worst week of the season for the pickers, as only Drew saw Brady upsetting Scallon, and Curtis got every pick but that one. He moves up to 3rd place with Nick, but still five points back from first.
