Another wild finish to another wild regular season - what a ride, boys.

Nick Hansen's The Upper Decker shocks all but two people (besides Nick himself), going absolutely ham, with a season high 153.06 pts, led by an equally shocking 37.64 game from Alex Smith and a combined 50🍔 from Gronk and AJ Green. Drew's 131.16 pts weren't enough, and for the first time in IFL history, Andrew is denied from the playoffs. You're witnessing history, folks. See ya next year, Drew! Nick earns a wildcard spot for the 3rd time, his bread and butter route to the playoffs. Congrats, bro!

The X-IA Championship game was perhaps even more shocking, with only earning one bold vote that wasn't his own (quite the seer, Jack). But Ewoldt didn't win in quite the same way that Nick did, as Ewoldt's victory came in the form of a gift from his opponent Brady, who left 42.56 pts on the bench, allowing Ewoldt's 106.62 pts to be good for his first ever X-IA Championship win. Congrats! Brady goes from the highest high of a X-IA Championship to a 5-8 effort in 2017 and a 12th place regular season finish. At least he managed to avoid the bottom 4 playoffs for worst team of the year.

Now, without further ado, let's look at our:

Championship Playoff Bracket

The Gingers and Coach Jack's Bellhops earned that crucial first-round bye, as Ewoldt and Curtis will face off this week, as do Nelson and Nick. I will preview these games in the coming days, but man, I am already getting hyped.

Then we have our draft odds battle royale:

Sorry, I don't have time to pretty up the above image today like I did with the championship's, but I might come back and update it later.

tournament to not be last

(1) Kelce if you can (5-8) vs (4) Dirty Mike and the Boys (2-11)

(2) Hyrule's Last Hope (5-8) vs (3) For Folks Sake (4-9)

Also don't have time to create a bracket image for this epic tournament, but this will suffice for now. The loser of the first two losers here is our IFL Worst Coach of the Year. What fun!

CdS finishes the regular season as the top division for the 3rd time in 4 years, also earning 6 out of 7 available wildcard spots in the 4th season of the IFL (earned 2 this season). X-IA gets buried.

Division Overall W-L:
CdS: 451-329
DD&B: 397-383
BSC: 394-386
X-IA: 305-475

Ewoldt pulls the impossible (if it were a Vegas bet, he'd have taken millions) and grabs 5 big ones, where almost every else falters. Rough sledding as we get into the money ball portion of our Pick 'Em contest.
