So here’s what we know. Aaron Rodgers is BACK, and defenses win championships, even in fantasy.
Rodger’s player of the week performance, 43.76 points, which accounting for more than half of Aaron’s points this week, was good enough to defeat fellow BSC rival Scallon Express, who without IRL Thor Christian McCaffrey, posted their season low, 77.22 points. Aaron gets the crucial divisional win and goes up one game over Scallon. Now Aaron claims that this low output has more to do with his Broncos DEF literally preventing Scallon from scoring, but the veracity of these statements are being looked into. In the meantime, it is known that this was the lowest scoring week of the IFL regular season since Week 9 of 2017. Sometimes winning in fantasy is just about getting down in the mud and grinding one out.
Fellow BSC member Brett’s Regrets got HAMMERED by Papa Jord’s thanks to 28 from Brissett, and 31 from Darren Waller. Drew putting up just a measly 121 points, and Jord wins by 34. That is truly fun to watch. The loss means that Aaron is in full control of the BSC, despite having the lowest point average. Jord’s win just means he’s still in a tie for first in the crazy DD&B.
TC is also BACK, with his returning Saquon in the fold, Ekeler continuing to be heavily used, and the recent Chase Edmonds pickup paying off, Don’t Mess with the Zoquon posts 153 over the tragedy-filled C-Team, who posted a season high 127 pts this week.
The Doc also moved to 5-2 this week, destroying Hunt 132-74, and remains the most consistent team in the league this year, with a standard deviation of just 10 pts.
3-2-1 SPIKE! continues his streak of getting just enough points to go undefeated, besting Braut10, 117-104, but his secret is also consistency, with a standard deviation of 11 pts. He’s now 5 games up in X-IA, and with 6 games left in the regular season, he’s all but clinched it.
Nick drop kicks Curtis in the beginning of his divisional matchups, 134-75, and maintains his 3 game lead in CdS, the lone bright spot a division that’s been riddle with injuries.
Dirty Doc & the Boys have a dirty week, 3 of them scoring in the Top 4, and they overtake the BSC as the top division.
Division Overall W-L:
DD&B: 255-165
BSC: 232-188
X-IA: 194-226
CdS: 159-261
The consensus goes 4 for 4 this week, and the wagerers clean up, allowing Curtis and Jesse to get 6 points each this week. Curtis pulls away from Nick to claim 1st place.
