DIRTY DOC & THE BOYS!

Their fearless leader, Dr. Jack leads his Badgers to a 120-106 victory over the 2-1 Nelson, to go to 3-1.

Papa Jord goes ham against Nick, 142-110, thanks to 69 points from Brissett, Gurley, and Kupp to move to 3-1.

Braughton handles one of two remaining undefeated teams in the league, a fellow DD&B member, TC, 134-109, led by newly acquired and newly relevant Wayne Gallman’s 26 points, symbolically replacing TC’s Saquon for the time being as a powerhouse, which means that the entire division is now 3-1 and in a four way tie.

Dirty Doc & the Boys are 12-4 as a division, and two of the losses were due to divisional matchups or else they’d probably be 14-2.

What’s wild though, is they might not even have one of the three best teams in the league. Their highest flyer, Papa Jord’s is #4 in PPG, behind 3-2-1 SPIKE!, Brett’s Regrets (dang it), and the merciless Scallon Express.

The Scallon Express and Brett’s Regrets is an interesting race for the Boy Scout Cyclones division, which has been tightly guarded by Drew, four out of five seasons as the division champion. The Express steamrolled another championship ringbearer this week, 146-101 over the Bucknaked Bradys, with a whopping 90 points from Wentz, McCaffrey, Kerryon Johnson, and Hooper. With back to back weeks of highest scoring in the league, he’s in rare territory right now, with only four teams ever averaging above 140 PPG in IFL history.

Jesse gets a predicted win over Curtis, 133-104 and is now the only undefeated team yet in the league, while his comrades in X-IA are now all 1-3 with Ewoldt’s first win of the season over Hunt 134-72. Jesse is now in the driver’s seat of the division, throwing down so many spikes.

The Cul-de-Sack goes “O”fer this week, and is now 5-11 as a division, and hosts the only 0-4 team in the league, Big Brett’s Big Year, losing to Drew this week 104-116 (DANG IT). If you’re going to go 0-4, though, the Cul-de-Sack is a good division to do it in.

The Cul-de-Sack drops a deuce this week, going 0-4 as a division, as X-IA jumps up to 3rd, and Dirty Doc & the Boys continue to separate themselves from the pack.

Division Overall W-L:
DD&B: 144-96
BSC: 122-118
X-IA: 110-130
CdS: 104-136

The wagerers pay for it in the first ever spread pick, and the consensus prevails. Braughton goes 4 for 4 this week, and jumps into 4th place.

Rounding down, we are now a 1/3 of the way through the regular season, and yet, we haven’t even really begun.
