2020 is unchartered waters in almost every way. Jack and Ewoldt are 3-0 for the first time and their coaching history. Drew and I are 0-3 for the first time ever. That can’t be right.

Jack’s 3-0 start is pretty impressive, as 7 teams have higher average points than him, but he’s doing the Curtis thing, where he just wins games and doesn’t care about how pretty it is, and that’s quite fitting as he beat Curtis in our Game of the Week, 180-158, thanks to a 40-bomb from Mahomes, and 25 from A-Rob.

Ewoldt’s 3-0 start is a little different, as the Hype Zone is the 2nd highest scoring team in the league right now with 190 PPG. Not that he needed it in Week 3, nearly doubling Hunt’s output 206-106, 40-burger from Kamara, and another 97 from Dak, Jefferson, Graham, and Cobb. If Hunt played every team all 3 weeks, he’d be 2-43 right now. That’s hard to do. Doesn’t really make me feel any better given we’re both 0-3.

Brady wins his 2nd straight Bounty Brawl this week, this time against Jord, 161-149, with some clutch Dalvin Cook and Keenan Allen performances. His boys really gave everything they had to win to beat long-time rival Jord, absolutely unloading the fridge. Chris Carson almost paid the ultimate price for it too, but fortunately, just came away with a sprain. This is Brady’s first positive record through 3 weeks since 2016, when the Godfather of Fantasy was born. 👀

With Brady and Ewoldt both winning this week, it should be pointed out that Jesse and Austin also got wins this week, and the X-IA division is now a ridiculous 9-3 to start the season, with Ewoldt up one game at 3-0. Austin, by the way, started off the season with 2nd least points in the league. Then 2nd most in Week 2. Now most points this week. What’s next?

But, you know, it’s still early. No team is down more than two games in their division. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Here’s to dangerous optimism.

X-IA have a huge week collectively, and gain big on the CdS. The Boy Scout Cyclones have one of their all-time worst weeks in league history.

Division Overall W-L:
CdS: 114-66
X-IA: 107-73
DD&B: 80-100
BSC: 60-120

Nobody’s perfect in Week 3 Pick ‘Em, but the two leaders, Jord and Jack stay on top with 3 out of 4.
