The three lowest scoring weeks of the season, culminating in a league average 101 PPG for semifinals week, 22.5 PPG lower than the season average, made for some strange games, and in many leagues, season-enders for many fantasy leagues top-scoring teams, as many of the league’s top-scoring players had off games.

Fortunately for Jord, he was playing Hype, who was in the same boat. 3 of Hype’s top 5 scoring players’ Saquon, Keenan and Ertz combined for 14.8 pts. Jord had poor performances from Thielen and Winston but was bailed out by a return to form performance from Gurley (35 pts) and Mixon put up 27 of his own, leading Momma Cat to a 124-90 victory.

On the other side of the bracket, the IFL STARS had 8 players score less than 10 pts, and the season-long dynamic duo Mahomes and Hill put up a combined season low of just 26 pts. Slick Rick’s Firepoles didn’t need any favors; however, as Drew’s boys fared just fine this week, and were capped off by the timely pickup of Chiefs RB Damien Williams who put up 30. Drew won easily 152-89.

Those games put an end to the brilliant championships runs of Curtis and Hype. Hype, whose slingshotted his way to relevance with two first-round draft picks, which were used brilliantly (Saquon and Keenan), put together a championship-caliber team, who in another season, may have very well won it all. Curtis, who via trade assembled his customary stack maneuver of Mahomes and Hill (#1 QB & #2 WR), won in the face of all the experts all season long, like he always does, the Mexi Turbo just wins games, but the big one eludes him yet again.

That leaves two. Jord and Drew. Two powerhouse teams with one goal in mind. The 24k gold IFL championship ring. More to come on their matchup in our pick ‘em poll.

Big weeks from TC, Drew, and Jord, but Nick still has a healthy lead. Going to be a lot of points up for grabs this week; however, so don’t despair.
