Wow, wow, wow. What a week.

TC finally loses his IFL virginity, against the 2nd highest scoring team in the league, the Mexi Turbo, no less. Way to go, man. Your playoff hopes were dead long ago, but this win prevented you becoming the worst team in the league this season, at least for now. The Mexi Turbo proved that without Zeke, his team is lacking that signature boost, scoring a season low, 78.6 pts, looking more like this:

With Zeke out until the Championship week of the playoffs, Curtis is in trouble.

Now, there's a chance Zeke could be back in Week 14, pending an expedited appeal, which would put him back in time for the first round of the playoffs. That decision could make or break Curtis' championship hopes. What a ride. Meanwhile Curtis also snagged David Johnson, who is attempting a December return of his own. In the meantime, Curtis needs just one win in the next three weeks to earn a playoff spot.

He'll get his first chance to do so against the Flaming Red Hot Gingers in Week 11, who by some twist of fate, have now won 8 in a row, despite scoring less than 100 points in 4 of the last 5 weeks. Their most recent victim, was Helm's Deep Archery Club, who had 6 players score less than 3 pts. Without even fact checking it, I'm going to declare that's an IFL record. The Gingers tie the IFL record for longest win streak, a feat set by The Twenty Deuce last year. Of course, the two winning streaks could not be less alike. The Twenty Deuce averaged a whopping 143.5 PPG during that streak, compared to an above-average 118.8 PPG. But hey, a win's a win, am I right?

We also had one of the wildest Games of the Week ever in Week 10, a BSC showdown between Scallon and Nelson. The Express seemed to be in the driver's seat after a Thielen thirty deuce, and a Jared Goff 26 pt game, but a garbage time TD pass from Manning got Nelson with 20 pts heading into MNF, and a miraculous 20.40 pt performance from Christian McCaffrey put gave Nelson a 0.40 pt victory.

The win for Nelson gives him a two game lead over Scallon, but with Drew winning the IFL Superbowl rematch in close fashion over Brady 108.44 - 101.18, Nelson remains only one game up over the The Ghost of Stonewall Jackson.

No divisions are clenched, and with only one week to go, the Wild Card Race is getting intense. Here's a look at the current playoff standings:

15 teams still vying for a playoff spot and only 3 weeks left to go. It's crunch-time, gentlemen.

The DD&B have a solid 37-23 week, and move past the BSC, as the 2nd best division, but the CdS maintain the grip on the reigns.

Division Overall W-L:
CdS: 335-265
DD&B: 309-291
BSC: 306-294
X-IA: 250-350

Lots of flops in Week 10, and Nick takes advantage going, 4 for 4. The dude had the gall to go against the consensus in two heavily one-sided matchups, and came out the wiser. The power play allows him to tie for first with Curtis. Nice work. 👍
